She frowned, looking up at him. "But... you're a demon. You can do anything."
"A lot of the time, yes," she admitted.
He gave them a hesitant smile, looking nervous. "Good to meet you, Charlotte. I'm Tuck."
"And a blanket!"
"You said you would handle it."
"Isn't that embarrassing? But you are."
"Can I help at all?" he asked quietly, approaching them.
"We can pack some food," August said, heading to the icebox.
"Stop her from dying?"
"Nothing, you're just..." She cleared her throat. "You're really, really hot."
He looked around curiously, his brows thoughtful.
"A little picnic?" August exclaimed in excitement.
"Okay, like you'll handle it?"
The class left and she turned to him, obviously a bit flustered.
He came down a few minutes later, approaching quietly.
"You want him for that. I see. Why don't we all go out together?"
"She can't die."
She was blushing slightly, but cleared her throat, turning to the chalkboard to clean up as the class left.
