She shrugged before hovering lightly. "Whatever."
"I think you're lying, but you're cute when you lie."
He huffed before draping his arms around her again.
"Yes, but it doesn't work," she said smoothly, adding more chocolate chips. "Especially since you've already got me. You've definitely got me."
"That's lame."
"Is it really?"
"Do not."
She laughed, tapping his nose lightly with her ring finger before tapping his lips. "That pickup line doesn't work if I've already used it."
"Yeah."
He frowned, looking embarrassed. "I think you're biased."
He squinted at her. "No."
"I'm religious," she replied. "I'm in the church of Sam."
"That'd be so cool, though. Can you make them?"
"Is that all it takes?"
He let go of her cautiously.
"So... devoutly religious?"
