The next morning, Eden woke, blinking blearily.
"What animals do you know?"

"Deer. D-E-E-R. You've never seen them."
She slowed, crossing her legs in midair. "And Zad can fly and Warner has his dinosaur... we can all fly together!"
He kissed her, his hands cupping her jaw.
It didn't take long, her head against his sternum.
"Yes. I saw a bunch of deer. They ran away, though."
She laughed, looking ecstatic. "You're flying again!"
"You'll do it?" he asked, joy threatening to creep into his voice.
She relaxed, shifting to get more comfortable. "Good..."
"I'm going to drink all this soup. It was an exciting day."
She followed him up, trying to keep at his pace.
All the air seemed to leave him for a moment. "Really?"
Her hand curled against his chest and she was quiet before nodding. "Okay. You'll stay?"
"I'm going to have soup, then."
