August got up to clear their plates, still seeming perplexed by the conversation.
She neared the ground quickly before stopping about five feet in the air.
He laughed slightly. "Am I wrong?"
She considered them for a moment before plummetting towards the ground.
"Ouch," Mo muttered. "That one hurts, huh?"

She considered the vines for a moment before extending a hand, willing them to take hers.
"But you are like..." He frowned, stumbling over the word. "You are like a sister, no?"
He turned to go deeper into the shelves, looking around.
She followed it, floating higher and higher before willing vines to climb up the trunk.
He looked completely bewildered. "A crush? Why would he say that you have a crush on me?"
He said nothing, kissing her forehead. "Come on. Let's keep looking around."
She let go of the other two trees, focusing solely on the third and rising in the air with it as it grew.
"About what?" August asked, looking terribly confused.
He flushed, kissing her temple. "That's not true, Tez..."
She took a deep breath, trying to grow a third tree.
He nodded, thanking her quietly.
Mo raised an eyebrow. "Am I correct? You humans are so interesting."
His arms slipped around her waist. "What?"
