He laughed slightly, ruffling her hair. "Don't worry about it, Aspen."
"I'm well aware."
She seemed uncomfortable, shifting slightly. "What?"
"Not emotionally, he won't."
He winced slightly, pulling away. "I'm glad you like it."
He grinned slightly, kissing her cheek. "Thanks, siren."
She frowned, tilting her head. "No, I wasn't."
"Maybe for you. Mack is permanently damaged."
"Something important," he said with a shrug. "I figured this was as good a time as any."
"Oh, they're the same thing," he confirmed.
