He just seemed confused and upset. "I thought... I thought the Pillagers had come."
"Warner hasn't gotten used to it," she pointed out, looking up at him.
"Beez!" he insisted, holding up a handful of cheese.
He slipped his arms around her waist and kissed her. "Not better. Not possible."

He was looking at them, no sign of humour in his face. "Why... would you do that?"
Adeline stumbled as they landed in the palace again, swaying dangerously. "God. I'm not going to get used to that, am I?"
James was chewing on cheese. "Bees," he said with a toothy grin.
