"We probably have enough wire to get to A2," he mused, looking down at the diagram.
She didn't meet his gaze, squirming nervously as she finished her sandwich.
"It's like a vacation from life."
"But what about when the kids come home?"
"Did you ever think he would turn into a human so I could braid his hair with flowers?"
He hesitated, looking over at her. "We do, but there are very specific spots the wire needs to be hooked up. I think we should talk to Eli first."
She said nothing, but looked back down at her food.
He looked back down at her for a moment. "Lark says we're supposed to do a thing called a honeymoon. Do you know what that is?"
"That's very good," he murmured, turning to kiss her.
"Think about it. We plant a flower on his head."
"More wire," he confirmed. "And, obviously, the ability to go do it."
She squinted at him, tilting her head slightly."
"It is," he said, craning his head back to look at the stars. "What a day to get married, huh?"
"Oh, damn. Really?"
She shrugged slightly. "Okay. What about a potted plant? It's either a flower or a crown."
"If they got in, yeah. I don't think they would, though. It's pretty well hidden."
She frowned, a stubborn look glinting in her eye.
He squeezed their hand as they moved with the crowd, heading deeper into the forest.
"Fine?"
