Adeline looked at him curiously. "Your way?"
She leaned into his touch before shifting to the side, wincing in pain. "Will you lie down with me?"
Mo powered up slowly, his eyes lighting up.
"It does, doesn't it?"
"Sam, no."
Adeline blinked. "What is it with you guys just disappearing?" she asked, turning to Zad.
"It... God. It was so scary, Francis. I thought I wouldn't see you again."
There was a small click as she pulled it off. "Coasting in for a landing."
"Sure. And soup?"
"I'm not sure if humans can eat it, to be honest."
Adeline shrugged slightly. "Fine by me."
She exhaled a huge sigh of relief, starting to tremble. "Thank God..."
She eventually found it on his brain.
"...what do you want for lunch?"
"Of course there is."
She frowned before nodding. "Fine. So now what do I do?"
"Is... is she okay?" she asked, putting her free hand on her stomach. Her voice cracked slightly. "Did I... did I lose her?"
Mo sat patiently, powering off.
"No, you don't have to do that..."
"Okay. I might get some human fruit."
