Her shoulders shook with the laughter as she leaned her head forward tiredly. "Did I scare you?"
"Mm. Okay. Cup or cone?"
"I don't know. I just know that when I was that animatronic's age, I wasn't staring at screens."
He kissed her with a playful grin.
"So, so cute."
She was laughing deeply, still trying to catch her breath. "That... that was crazy!"
He draped an arm over her. "Do you know what you want?"
"Kids these days," he muttered.
"God, stop flirting with me!"
"But you're overwhelmingly handsome, so it works."
She gasped for breath, but she was laughing so hard she could barely speak. "Why... why'd you stop me?"
He followed her, and the teenager at the counter looked up from their math book. "Hi there," she said cheerfully.
