"I don't know. I thought you would refuse," she said, catching up to him. "Surely you have a ton of people asking you to teach them."
He glanced over, his brow furrowed. "Don't look like that. I'm okay."
"Puddle," he said with a frown. "Remember?"
"Thank you," he said gratefully. "I might go run by the lab, if that's okay."
"You gotta tell me what you want, here."
She blinked in surprise, tilting her head as she quickly followed him. "Wait, seriously? That worked?"
He joined her, heading to the drawers.

"Incorrect."
"What was that?"
"I don't know anyone here!" she whispered dramatically. "Believe it or not, Mr. Demon Man, but you've quickly risen to the ranks of my best friend...
"Because you didn't ask," the mouse replied hotly.
"I would be lost without you."
She clucked her tongue slightly. "Disappointing."
She squinted at him. "You said you would help me."
His arms slipped around her hips and he embraced her once more before pulling away, standing up. "Okay."
Dali noticed the mouse and frowned, coming over to her. "Who's your friend?"
He grinned, coming over to her and kissing the top of her head. "Thank you."
"Around me?" she teased.
She blinked, her brow furrowing as she looked down at her feet.
