He raised an eyebrow. "Make up your damn mind."

He hugged her back. It was a little awkward at first, but he felt the same as he always had, his heartbeat still strong and steady in his chest....
He frowned for a moment before pulling away, returning to his food as well.
"Incorrect, sir," she replied, raising an eyebrow. "They exist. We rode here on one."
Mr. Pemberly closed the blinds, glancing over his shoulder at Aspen. "You've been at it all day, Aspen. It's time to go home now."
She returned a few moments later, sliding a glass of water over to him.
He hesitated before opening his arms to her.
He chuckled, wrapping his long arms around her. "I love you too."
"If I'm gonna be dead, I'm gonna be dead from a badass dragon accident."

She hesitated before running her fingers through his hair before turning, heading back into the kitchen.
He sighed for a moment before tilting his head. "Do you... this is a weird question, but would a hug help?"
He kissed her forehead. "You're a beautiful genius."
She scoffed, raising one eyebrow. "A flying, flaming lizard? C'mon, Warner, you and I both know that isn't what I'm talking about."
