Her hands seemed to be constantly trembling at this point, but she glanced up at him before returning to the kitchen.
"Yep," she said, slipping off the file cabinet and kissing his cheek. "I'll see you later."
"I wouldn't lie to you, Bug."
He opened his mouth to speak before closing it. "None of your business, child of Apollo."

From the kitchen, the smell of strong coffee floated out, and Poppy came out with a mug for him, still avoiding his gaze.
"Then I should probably head back to my apartment to get some planning done. You're too distracting."
"Truth."
"Turn around."
He laughed deeply, patting Francis' face.
