Her hands curled in his shirt, and her breathing slowed as she relaxed, her lips slightly parted.
"Only from me."
He raised his second finger. "Sharks?"
"I'm not."
"Gah. No. None of that."
She still looked slightly panicked, but her tiredness quickly took over, and she fell asleep, her head in his hand.
"Apparently you do."
He laughed, holding up one finger. "Sharks."
She seemed almost insulted by the claim. "I am not."
"Such a terrifying lady."
She leaned into his touch, her whole body weary. "Francis..."
"Nope. You're lying."
He laughed lightly, but Natalia raised an eyebrow. "You're letting Jack plan the trip?"
She seemed confused, leaning back against a tree. "What?"
"I am scary."
She looked around as if she was being cornered, but he could feel her resolve weakening. "But..."
"Lies," he said smoothly.
He looked over at her with a small smile. "You don't know where we're going, do you?"
"You know how to hold the thing. Don't try to fool me."
