"Hm..."
She sniffled before shaking her head, burying her face in his chest.
He flushed, rolling his eyes. "Don't try to turn this on me."
He raised an eyebrow before smirking slightly, standing up. "You're still scared of her, huh?"
"How would I even do it?"
She blinked, raising one eyebrow. "No way."
She watched him fall asleep, her brows furrowed.
"Thank God."
He seemed confused. "She... poured water on him?"
"No, thank you."
"Gabe. Tell me."

He flushed, looking at the cage. "I see. The prisoner has escaped. Nat is here, you said?"
She squinted at him, clearly a little annoyed. "It's not what I'm made for."
"What could I have done?" she asked, crouching near him with a raised brow.
She relaxed, burying her head in his chest. "Good. Sleep."
"I agree. It's a wonderful coincidence, don't you agree?"
He shifted awake suddenly, his eyes fluttering open. He looked up at her, bewildered, before relaxing. "Oh. Hey, you. What is it?"
"Of course I do. It's what I was made for."
