She looked up at him, her brows furrowed. "I should tell them it was me, though, right?"

Her hand curled against his collarbone, and she moved closer to him, her heart beating.
The pigeon cooed, fluttering his wings.
She rested her hands on his forearms and she was clearly shaking. "But... it was burning."
He jerked his head back, clearly surprised. "What was that?"
She kissed him deeply and suddenly, her hand running through his hair.
She held the precious envelope before extending it to Avice.
"But somebody could have," she said, her eyes wide. "Someone could have!"
She glared up at him. "Evidently not annoying little angels."
He kissed her forehead. "Don't do that."
"'Yyyuuppp'."
Aubrey returned quickly, running as fast as her fat legs could carry her.
"Someone could have died."
She raised an eyebrow before kneeling down in the dirt.
"Bleh yourself."
"What was that?"
It squirmed slightly in her grip to get more comfortable, but generally seemed pretty relaxed.
Her brows furrowed and she looked at the window. "Someone could have died."
