She ran her hand through his hair, her thumb brushing his cheekbone.
Canyon was in the kitchen, nervously drinking tea.
He put an arm around her, sighing.
"Smelly."
She didn't come out for the rest of the night, staying silent.
She smiled slightly, wrapping her arms around him. "I love you."

She gave him a look before sighing, going into her tent and laying out the bed roll.
She nodded, turning her head to look at him observantly.
She was stunned, watching him with wide, adoring eyes. She cleared her throat and stood, going back to the kitchen.
He nodded, squeezing her hand.
