He was quiet for a minute. "You can go sleep in the bed, you know."
She rubbed her eyes, looking tired.

She hesitated before shaking her head, cupping his jaw in her hands. "That's different. That's a job."
Aubrey hummed under her breath.
He has been resting his head on his hand, but she might notice a subtle tensing in his shoulders as she sat down.
She nodded, standing up and opening the closet door.
"There's a lot happening there."

After a while, she slowly unfurled herself, sniffling slightly. "We should go, right?"

Her fingers curled in his shirt, and she glared slightly at him. "You can't go anywhere," she said flatly, raising one eyebrow. "Okay?"
