He sat up, continuing to sit on her.
"I- I just wanted to apologize. I wanted to see you-" she held herself nervously. "I want to just.. I'm sorry."
She leaned into his touch. "Let's get the cake."
"..I've heard of them."
"Fine."

She moved back towards the door before kneeling by it almost submissively. "Please don't be afraid of me.."
She turned her head, intercepting to kiss him.
"They're usually gross."
"Hm.. Just this once?"
"Probably not."
Tez jumped, her eyes widening as she panicked slightly.
She sighed, watching him adoringly. "I love you."
"I know! But hermits generally aren't cute. Hermit crabs are cute, though."
"Please?"
"Yeah. Pretty much. Trying to, at least."
Her eyes widened and she looked around, a small feeling of fear banging in her chest as she found her surroundings rather intimidating.
