"I suppose," she said with a sigh, leaning over to kiss his bare chest.
"That's a lot of loving."
She studied him with those large, searching eyes for a moment before sighing, standing up. "Are you hungry?"
"Don't worry, okay?"
"You don't normally grin."
"But you rested last night," she said, tilting her head as she knelt by him.
"Oh, wow."
She shifted uncomfortably before dropping her hands, shaking her head. "No. Just stay safe. We wouldn't move on if something happened to you."
"I really, really like your company."
"Just be normal."
She gave him a smile, coming over to him. "What are you doing?"
"Yeah, but you don't love pie."
She visibly relaxed, nodding slightly, her alert gaze flickering to meet his hazel eyes. "Good. Thank you."
"With you? Of course."
"Not that."
