"Seriously. I know that would be hard," she said, pulling away slightly, her dark brows furrowed. "Thank you."
She reached up and kissed him again, stepping closer to him and curling her fingers in his hair.

He was balancing a pitcher of lemonade and a basket. "Yes. Ready."
Her brows furrowed, and she went silent for a moment before leaning over and hugging him. "Thank you for telling me."
"I love you."
"Any bad dreams?"

She rolled her eyes slightly. "I'm telling the truth."
"I did. You?"

He laughed, looking around for the ingredients.
