"Evidently. You're much more likely to flirt."
"A crazy, salad-filled world."
"We need to get moving," she murmured after a while.
He flushed slightly before shaking his head. "Nah. I'm alright."
He laughed deeply before crawling across the floor, heading for his toybox.
"You didn't have any problems with it."
"It's a crazy world."
She fell silent, her eyes still closed as she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him close.
"A little. It's alright."
He stuck his tongue out at her before disappearing into the bedroom.
"That doesn't make any sense."
"Tastes like salad."
She sighed warmly, her thumb brushing across his bottom lip. "I trust you," she said quietly, a strange seriousness in her tone now.
He flushed immediately, turning on his heel and heading for the bedroom.
"So you're saying he didn't want to kill me."
She returned her attention to hers as well. "How's the gnocchi?"
"You wouldn't lie to me."
"Why not?"
"He was trying to kill me!"
