Her fingers traced shapes in his spine and she fell silent, her free hand coming up to gently brush through his hair.
She stretched out her wings, yawning tiredly as she rubbed his back slowly.

Her brows furrowed and she considered him thoughtfully. "You don't like him?"
She glanced at him out of the corner of her eyes. "Your mortal enemy."
"I know, my love, but think of the children."
"I can build small things. Not rooms."
He flushed again, giving her a small smile. "You think everything we do is cute."
She brushed her hand over his skin for a moment before dropping her hand, leaning back against the headboard, considering him. "Is Briar coming...
She laughed again, deeper this time. "Uh huh. Sure."
He seemed relieved, nodding slightly. "Thank you."
