She slipped off him with a small grumble as he sat up. "Geez! Give a girl some warning some time!"
"Just wait until he wakes up fully."
He nodded in understanding. "Most pixies don't even eat meat, if it's any consolation."
Her eyes fluttered when he kissed her, and her smile deepened, her hand coming up to rest on the side of his jaw. "You're so handsome, Francis,"...
He left the room, heading for the bedroom.
"Yeah. Why not?"
"She's wild."
"Let's do that, then. Are you a vegetarian?"
A slow smile crossed her lips, exposing her dimples as her grey eyes traced his features. "I absolutely adore you," she said quietly.
"I'll, uh..." He seemed at a loss for what to say, running his fingers through his hair. "I'm going to go get it ready..."
She sighed, stretching slightly. "Want to go check out any missions?"
He glanced back at Avice. "I have a monkey on my back."
"What do you normally eat?"
