She took a breath before burying her face in his neck. "You're here. You're here."
"Ass."
"Don't sneak up on me," she said, the tone of her voice never changing from the shy and quiet sound. "Don't look at me."
He did the same, almost playfully mocking her.
She gasped turning sharply before her eyes widened and her words because stuck in her throat.

He grinned, kissing her cheek.
She sat up, immediately trying to hide her face and head. "Why would you do that?"
"Hmph."
Avice was in front of the house. She was facing the forest, painting. The kids played nearby and she was sure to keep on eye on them.
He eventually did as well, mostly due to the singing.
"Did it for you?"
She wouldn't have seen him at this point, and she didn't reply. She was fiddling with a leaf, but her face would be obscured by shrubbery and foliage.
"Hmph. Fine. I'm still paying."
His eyes fluttered, and he decided to lie back.
"I think so. It did for me."
He would see movement close by, but it hadn't noticed him. "It's a nice name."
"I will not!"
There wasn't many words, but it was her handwriting written carefully. "I love you! I miss you a lot, already. I'll see you soon." At the bottom...
