He hesitated before sitting on the couch. “Now what?”

“The worst guy I’ve ever met,” she teased, turning on her side to look at him, her hair tickling his skin.
He walked for a while, clearly tense.
"Oh, good. I'm glad."
He frowned, looking nervous. "Is that a good thing?"
She reached up and kissed him, her hand on his jaw.
She laughed, pulling her hand away. "You're terrible."
He didn’t look at her, his brow furrowed nervously.
He laughed slightly. “I am?”
“A little. I kissed you and thought it was a dream.”
She looked up at him adoringly. “I love you.”
She clapped her hand over his mouth.
He took it, his fingers fitting perfectly with hers except for the fact that his hands were trembling.
He rubbed her back slowly, his fingers long and soothing.
“Are you nervous?”
She followed, squeezing his hand.
“It’s not my fault you’re a ghost dinosaur.”
He looked over at her a little nervously. “Oh... okay.”
