"I don't think it's going to happen," he said, his voice cracking slightly as they neared her hotel. "It just won't work out."
He laughed, standing up. "I love you."

They got back to the room and she opened the door. "We will, I guess."
He sighed, his brows furrowing. "I can't be the one making you choose, Tez. That's not right."

"Oh, good."

"But I'm the one telling you that. It's alright, Tez, it really is. I just don't want to be a part of it."

"What about what I own?"
