She nodded. "Good. Do you want to head home soon? I can make us a nice dinner."

He knelt down as well. "Please? Let me help out."
"I want it to be never."
"You're lovely."
"Oh.. That's nice. I never learned."
He stepped closer, taking her hand. "Poppy.. Go take a nice shower. I'll deal with it. I don't mind."
"Don't say that.."
She watched him, a small smile on her face.
"It's okay. I just don't know how to sew."
"You're much more assertive than I am," he replied easily. "Do you want to take a shower while I clean this up?"
"That's perfect."
She grinned. "You're the only boy I call kind things."
"Yeah. It is."
Francis watched Poppy, his head cocked.
She relaxed, sighing. "I'm glad I still get to spend time with you when we get home."
