"I do," she replied slowly. "A bunch."
She nodded, holding the plate. "I thought you would like some."
"You shoulda known."
He said nothing, sitting quietly.
She glanced back. "I made you toast."
"You walked into it."
Gabe frowned, saying nothing.
Tez was standing at the counter in the kitchen.
"Yeah. That's unfortunate."
