He sighed, relaxing as he set his things down. He sat on the edge of the bed, putting his hand on her shoulder. "Poppy?"
He blinked, the lights vanishing as he looked at her.
She went quiet, relaxing.
"I joke all the time. Haven't you noticed?"
He went up the stairs, keeping silent, eventually reaching the bedroom.
