He frowned, heading downstairs again.

He lifted his arm. "Because the most it is right now is a bracelet."
He laughed, shaking his head.
He sighed. "I love you too, princess."
She grinned. "Did you forget?'
"But it's not even doing anything. My wrist hurts."
He kissed her cheek, standing up with a frown.
"But soon, okay? I promise. Then I'll be home for bedtime every night."
She chuckled, squeezing his hand. "How much exactly did I owe you?"
