He looked up, rather surprised. His eyes wide. He was quiet for a moment. "I didn't expect you to visit places like this."
"Of course. I'm sure it will be nice.'
"It was just this once," he amended. "I won't do it again."
He didn't seem to notice her, distracted.
She took his hand, her eyes bright.
He crossed his arms. "I'm sure it'll be fine."
His arms were resting on the table, but his right held a drink. His dark hair made his eyes stand out, and his demeanor was relaxed. He didn't see...
He shut the door behind them. "Has there been any sightings?"
She would have recognized the person that sat by the corner, especially the eyes that gazed down at his drink.
She nodded, standing. "Yup."
He opened the door, gesturing out.
Eventually, each member left one by one, till there was only one left.
She sat up, taking his arm. "So are we going to go?"
"Let's just take this outside.. We're being loud."
There was group in the back corner, chatting loudly, their voices bright with laughter.
She squeezed his hand. "I love you."
He flinched, raising his hands. "Nothing happened."
