She grinned, kissing his cheek. "I might be. What did you get at the market?"
He took his fork, leaning back. "It will go okay today, right? Do you think?"

He leaned to kiss her cheek. "Thank you."
"Derrick, I swear to god. Get out of my way."
She stood up, moving to give him a kiss. "The kids are asleep."
He smiled warmly, staying quiet.
Francis grew more forceful, shoving him.
She looked up, her eyes brightening. "Hey."
He nodded, watching quietly again.
He tried to force through, looking annoyed.
(Present day) Avice was sitting in the kitchen, reading a book. Both of the kids were asleep at the time, and she was resting her head on her arm.
"You're really pretty."
Francis frowned, moving to go around.
She nodded, taking his hand. (Pooz?)
He sighed. "You're very pretty, Eden."
