She cocked her head. "Huh?"
He kissed the top of her head, his touch gentle.
Avice was nowhere to be seen. She wouldn't have been for most of the day.
She looked back at him, her expression curious.
He pulled her close. "I can't wait."

She kissed his cheek lightly before standing up and stretching out on the couch.
"Poppy, even if wasn't, I would still find a way."
She pulled her legs to her chest, pressing herself against the wall as she leaned against a cannon.
"Sarcasm."
He nodded. "I'm yours and you're mine."
She took a breath, folding her arms self consciously. "Y-You should go.." her words slurred slightly. "I don't.. I don't know what I'm doing."
"Hm.. I guess, since you seem so adamant on not."
"So you wouldn't want to anymore?"
"Diana is an exception."
"You love her, I'm sure," she murmured. "I'm not very fun to talk to anymore."
