He cocked her head. "They do?"

She nodded. "Maybe I'll just stay home and wait for you."
She nodded, going to him.
He smiled slightly, watching her.
She shrugged. "Nothing. Also, you look cute in sweaters."
"Thanks. I, uh, don't know how to work it."
He didn't react much, keeping quiet.
She nodded. "Good! Less time is good."
She grinned. "We are?"
He lifted his arm.
"I hope you have a good day."
She watched everything, her brows furrowed as she sank back into the room.
