Avice was in her room the next morning. She couldn't complain about the headache as she fixed up her room.
He pulled away from her touch. "Eden, stop."
"I did it last time."

"No," he replied forcefully. "I'll just stay at my parents old house. Not like they'll mind."
"Fine. Next time you're trying the bokwate."
She kissed the back of his hand before going into the room, waving her hand slightly, and closing the door.
He crossed his arms. "No."
"I'll figure it out myself."
She opened the door. "Thank you for escorting me, kind gentleman."
They emerged outside, the air significantly clearer.
He squinted before shaking his hand. "This is pointless."
"Everyone!" She stated firmly. "I ran away from them! I'm free!"
He watched her, his eyes narrow before grabbing her wrist and taking her to the exit.
"Bath?"
She shrugged. "Everything?"
"I'll be fine," he muttered. "I can get out myself."
"One's that she'll use."
"I feel gross every morning."
