She cocked her head before opening her arms.
"You're charming to me. You're nice to me. Be grumpy to mean people!"

She squeezed his hands before frowning. "I should get going."
"It means I think that you're charming."

Her eyes fluttered closed and she kissed him back. "I love you."
"By being you," she said playfully.
