Francis and Eliza took the dishes to the sink, washing them.
"That is so rude."
Her brows furrowed as she looked disheartened. "Not.. Not particularly."
Eliza chuckled, standing to get her dish.
"Well now you," she murmured, "that I enjoy speaking with you."
"No, no." She kept close. "I don't mind."
Francis nodded. "I'll take the dishes." Eliza cocked her head thoughtfully. "Let me help with that."
"Especially the fact that I love talking to you."
She laughed warmly. "What's this?"
"I suppose it is."
"You don't know anything about me."
She grinned, reaching up to run her hand through his hair.
"Same as ever," she replied. "Nothing new."
"And you think I don't like talking to you?"
"I love you too, Row," she said warmly. "My life."
She rested her hand on his shoulder as she sighed, warmly tilting her head.
She shook her head. "Why would it be?"
"A cousin from out of town, business things. It's quite boring."
She rested her head on the pillow, her eyes watching him fondly.
"Lies."
