"I'd love that," he replied warmly, kissing the back of her hand. "I can make cookies."
She moved back slightly, somewhat behind him.
She drifted off, her arms loosening around him.
He sighed. "I can't."
She turned to look, her brows furrowed.
She nodded, shutting her eyes.
"Nah." He adopted a teasing expression. "I just like staying with you."
She relaxed, leaning against him.
She sighed, resting her head on him again.
He leaned back. "I'm not sure I should go back."
She buried her face in his shoulder. "Idressyl m'ialo."
She looked up at him with bright eyes. "I promise."
He smiled at her warmly. "I've missed you today."
She laughed nervously. "Too late."
"Never," she replied, kissing his sternum lightly.
"Right. Wonderful."
