"And to think you almost threw it away. What is it?"
She squeezed his hand, seeming uncertain.
She laughed, wrapping her arms around him. "Let's share, then."
He sighed. "How was your day?"
Tez kept her head down for the moment, her brows furrowed.
She looked up at him, an adoring look in her eye. "Aren't they already warm?"
He nodded, taking off the carrier and sitting down. "Of course."
She listened, her brow furrowed.
She chuckled. "Sorry."
He nodded, grabbing his bag and pulling out two lunches, giving one to her.
She wanted to say something, but was likely too nervous to speak.
She stuck one hand under his shirt to warm it. "Would you sacrifice your warmth for my hands?"
"First thing she did was get Pep."
She kept silent, watching him carefully.
She smiled slightly. "You're warm."
