She gave him a kiss. "That wasn't your fault. Besides, you're, like, super smart. And you say I'm a genius, so that must be right."
He shrugged. "I just need to go through belongings and find a place for it. I'm pretty sure I inherited the house, though."
"Of course. You're tired too."
"Which is technically something you did."
He chuckled slightly, shaking his head as they approached the house.
He nodded. "Of course."
She laughed before resting her hand on the side of his face. "They probably have a tactic."
He kissed her cheek. "I like you a lot as well."
"I know. I'm teasing."
She poked him playfully, obviously trying to be lighthearted. "You probably have more qualifications than some of the medics."
He smiled at her. "Do you, now?"
He smiled slightly. "So mean."
She waved it off. "I don't need any."
He looked at her. "Of course not. I love it."
He squinted at her. "Are you making fun of me?"
She offered him a smile. "It's okay."
He opened the gate, stepping in. "Yeah.. You should see inside."
He started the car before driving to the house, likely more careful than she had ever seen.
