Tez pursed her lips, glancing at Rowan before returning to Eden. "I wasn't."
"You would?"
Sam glanced at her, his head cocked. Tez leaned in, pretending Rowan couldn't hear her as she whispered to Eden. "Between you and me, he thinks...
He kissed her forehead. "Don't worry. All that matters is you and the baby."
"..Because you asked me to."
Tez looked at her. "It's my language. And we're.. discussing!"
He laughed out loud. "I guess you will."
"And all your puppies."
She looked up at him. "I'm not! I'm just saying that you're really super smart because you are!"
He kissed her cheek. "It's exciting."
"See you just before I die."
Sam flushed slightly. "Well, not really.." Tez cocked her head, wrapping her arms around Rowan. "I think Row is pretty smart, too."
He laughed slightly, taking her hands. "We are! Don't worry."
"I'm going to spend the rest of my life getting you 10,000 puppies. Like you asked."
Tez tilted her head, leaning back into Rowan. "What else can you do?" Sam looked hesitant, keeping Eden close. "Most things, really.."
