She nodded slowly. "Mermaids can't switch."

Tez nodded, keeping close to Rowan. "I usually have a tail."
He set her down, a wide grin on his face. "We have a lot to do, right?"
She was quiet for a moment before kissing his cheek. "Yes."

"Can I have a kiss?"
She took hand, squeezing it gently before she looked back at the two, mostly Eden. "You have wings."
He laughed brightly. "We're going to be parents!"
"Not all humans are bad," she reminded gently. "Just like not all elves are bad."
A slow grin spread across his face and he picked her up excitedly. "Really?!"
"Well.. I don't think you should kill him. He wasn't hurting her.."
He was quiet for a moment. "Really?"
Her eyes widened. "No! He hasn't done anything!"
