His hands hovered over her waist. "What was that?"
She shut her eyes, her expression peaceful.
"The fishers!" she confirmed, her hands waving enthusiastically. "With their nets that get caught and kill us."
He chuckled. "I'll have to throw you in."
She smiled slightly, listening carefully.
"No, no. Sirens. Sirens don't hate elves. Sirens hate the fishers!"
He followed, shaking his head with a small smile.
She went silent, resting her head on his chest.
"Well," she said, squeezing his hand, "sirens don't hate elves."
"I.. I suppose so?"
She sighed, curling up next to him. "Anything."
She pursed her lips. "Why?"
"I just know."
"Are you going to?"
"You sell weapons in the market? Why?"
"It's not."
"I love when you sing. Is that bad?"
She looked up at him excitedly. "What else is there?"
