She cocked her head. "Alright.. Can I dry your hair at least?"
She raised an eyebrow. "Not yet."
"I didn't think you even saw it," he replied, his voice stubborn. "And instead you got that.. thing."
She cocked her head. "Can I help?"
She moved suddenly, pinning him on the bed with a playful expression. She leaned down to kiss his chest. "So?"
"You didn't even look at my serious option for you because you were so bent over wearing the speedo."
"Because you're up," she replied, matter-of-factly.
She smiled at him mischeviously, gripping the hem of his shirt. "No?"
"Me? I'm being childish?"
She looked up at him, her expression stubborn but mostly concerned. "I can't."
Just enjoying the fact that you're here. She let go before poking his stomach. "And all your cool scars."
"It's not even worth it."
"I'm staying up," she said quietly, folding her hands. "With you."
She paused for a moment before wrapping her arms and legs around him playfully.
"Just give me a minute and I won't be upset anymore."
She was pale in the moonlight, her eyes piercing. "Are you okay?"
