After kissing his cheek, she laid back again, pulling Aubrey closer to them. "I know. It'll be over sooner than you realize."
She looked down, returning to the bed and burying her face in the pillows, taking his distinct scent.
He offered a small smile. "Just.. Just fine. Don't worry."
She nodded slowly. "I know. It'll be alright, though."
She went quiet, but gave a nod. "..Alright. Stay safe."
He kept up, though his legs began to complain eventually.
She sighed quietly. "Does it hurt?"
She stood uncertainly. "Just, wait. I wanna talk.."
"..I suppose.."
"No, not really."
She looked worried. "But.. Rowan, wait."
"I'm just saying. This place is falling apart."
"Yeah, I understand. But visualizing it.. Unsettling."
She shifted, her eyes fluttering as she looked up at him tiredly. "Rowan?"
"The only reason someone could have died here is if a loose brick hit them on the head. Like they might with us."
She blinked moving to grab the cloth and help with the bleeding. "Don't say that. It's unsettling."
