She nodded, sitting up. "I will."
His eyes widened. "Val!" *** "I'm in love with you."
"It can be understood with tough, thorough thought, though."
"Then don't tease me." He pursed his lips. "Jerk."
She hummed quietly, running her hand through his sleep. "I know. It'll be alright."
He smiled at her. "Can you reach?" *** "Ah, barely."
He nodded, taking the flour. "That's right."
He squinted at her. "Stop that."
She kissed the corner of his mouth, placing an arm around him. "Rest your eyes. I'll be right back."
