"Something happened," she said, her gaze drifting downward. "Jack's in the infirmary, but we couldn't stay where we were."
Tez was quiet, before suddenly slipping out of the room. "Uh oh," Miko teased playfully. "I think you hurt her feelings."
He smiled, kissing her nose. "Yeah. That we are. It's crazy."
"No. You're the 60." *** She grinned playfully. "I don't cover your head with a blanket and watch you try to escape."
She laughed. "That's true."
Tez said nothing, her brows furrowing. Miko smirked. "Yep. But you probably don't know them."
He took a quick, ten minute shower before returning, wearing the pajamas again as he slid into bed.
"You're the 60." *** "I play with Nugget. I like to play with you in different ways."
She grinned. "Ellia is probably right."
Miko laughed, but shook her head. "No. She has her sights set on someone else."
He chuckled before heading into the bathroom.
"Nope." *** "Nuh uh."
She chuckled. "So, who's the guy?"
"Nothing," she replied, not looking up. "It's nothing."
His hand brushed her hair as he stood, putting the book down. "My turn."
"I really love it, but not as much as I love you." *** "..Playing with Nugget."
"Wow, really?" Avice smirked. "I always thought you two would end up dating."
Mikö gave a nod, her head cocking. "Thanks." Tez observed him, before looking down with a sigh.
