He nodded, leaving the apartment to go next door. *** "Fine. Yes."
"Punching death right in the face for each other. Amazing."
"But you're not okay. I could have done something.. but there was nothing."
She was unfamiliar with the area, but was sure to stay aware, though easily got distracted. She wandered further into the market, her eyes bright.
He pursed his lips. "Fine." *** "Perhaps."
"Just for you!"
He hesitated. "I asked, but.. I think it was Joli?"
Tez was just leaving the center, hoping to return as soon as she came back front the market.
He smiled. "I would hope so."
He nodded. "Let's do that." *** "That's a shame."
She shook her head, now trembling. "You shouldn't be the one comforting me. It should be the other way around."

"I mean.. Maybe? Sounds kinda risky." *** She smirked. "Yesss."
Her hand came to rest over his, and a tear slipped down her cheek. "Don't say anything.. I'll start crying.."
He didn't wake, his brows furrowed.
He nodded, a grin on his face before he paused. "The cats?"
She watched him. He would be able to tell she was on the brink of crying. "You're welcome."
He went into the sleep, immediately silencing.
