It's feathers were colder than it's feet, and it cocked its head at her.
"Then he's lying, probably."
She took his, her hand warm.
"Of course," he said brightly, his eyes warm.
'Just ask who he likes, okay?"
She sighed, sitting up. She let her feet hang off the edge of the bed for a moment before standing.
The bird moved to her finger, and she would notice it was almost cold to touch. It watched her intently, despite not having pupils.
"Like.. make it.. so it's not obvious."
She groaned, stretching her arms. "Yeah. You're right."
He lifted his finger for the bird to step on it. The blue and purple portal disappeared as he held his hand to her. "You can hold it."
"That's gross. Maybe you should find a subtle way to ask him?"
She kissed his neck, a sigh escaping her.
He stuck out his tongue thoughtfully, looking around. "Oh, I have an idea." He closed his hands, holding them for a moment before slowly opening...
"Didn't Jen say that he did?"
She grinned, obviously satisfied. "I love you."
He nodded. "That's right."
He rolled his eyes. "Well you have to ask. Then you know for sure."
She looked at him, her brows furrowed. "Kiss?"
He chuckled. "You're right, but I'd much rather learn it than steal it."
"Did you ask him yourself?"
