She looked down. "I was just checking. He looked grim. More so than usual."
He grinned, getting in. "Yeah it is."

He squeezed her hand, kissing her cheek. "Good morning."
She frowned, standing up and hesitantly going to Lark. "I-Is everything alright?"
She squinted at him. "*squee!*"
He placed an arm around her, resting his head above hers. *** "Ugh."
Tez looked back down, saying nothing of it. Inside, she was panicking a bit.
"Oh yeah, that's I was saying nooooo."
